McIntosh Gateleg Dining Table

Stylish and useful gateleg dining table. Designed by Tom Robertson for A.H McIntosh during the 1960s. Unlike standard rectangular gateleg tables that pull straight out, this McIntosh design features an unusual "scissor" or "X-frame" mechanism. The legs swing out at an angle to securely support the large side leaves.

This table could comfortably sit 4 people, possibly 6.


Condition


Very good condition. There are a few light marks on the top surface. Nothing that visible. Please see photos.
