Stag C Range 1950s Compactum / Wardrobe

Super stylish Compactum. Made by Stag. From the 'C Range' and dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s. Made from Walnut with dark ebonised trim.
The 'C' Range was highly influential. It pioneered modular, architectural furniture designed for compact post-war British homes, skipping traditional drawer handles in favor of clean, recessed grips

Condition
Decent condition. There are some small splits around 2 of the hinges, a few paint marks on one side and some of the paint on the black trim is showing a bit of wear. The top surface is fairly good, but a little bit 'dappled' in places. The doors open and shut well.
I think it would have originally had a pull out front to back rail. It seems this has been replaced with a left to right rail, which is probably a bit more practical.
