Vintage Asian Rocking Elephant

Magnificent hand-carved wooden rocking elephant. It is exceptionally heavy, solid, and structurally robust, showcasing the dense, high-quality hardwood typical of mid-to-late 20th-century artisan imports (likely originating from India or Southeast Asia).
It features a raised trunk (a traditional symbol of good luck), detailed large ears, a built-in wooden saddle with textured detailing, and a hand-painted geometric border.
